Research interests: Travel market segmentation, market segmentation practices and procedures in tourism and hospitality; Traveller decision-making processes and motivations; Destination and hospitality marketing, planning and research, database marketing techniques; Tourism planning and development, project evaluation and feasibility studies; Destination marketing organizations; Image and branding development in tourism and hospitality, advertising and promotional effectiveness research procedures; Internet marketing, marketing hospitality and tourism on the World Wide Web; Special-interest travel markets (e.g., adventure travel, ecotourism) and the visiting friends and relatives travel market; Cruise travel market and industry development.
